5 thg 3, 2009 · As observed earlier, Woodland Park Zoo is owned by the City of Seattle (see 'Woodland Park Zoo Management' paragraph) and is, therefore, probably subject to preemption by RCW 9.41.270.
17 thg 6, 2015 · I also hired her to counter-sue the Zoo so as to establish precedent that the Zoo's claims of being an educational institution, a day care facility, an amusement park, and a business (among other things) - are hogwash. If you've been following the news, you may have noted that the Houston and Dallas (TX) Zoos have made similar claims.

31 thg 5, 2010 · If the zoo is owned by the city, county, or state, state preemption does not allow you to be prevented from carrying in a lawful way. However if it is a private business, it is their rules and you can be removed and trespassed.
